One of our first goat residents & biggest jokester. Oreo loves to tear off fly masks, ride horses (yes truly), munch on animal crackers and sneak full body scratches against oversized brushes.
The beauty queen, helicopter mom to triplets & Lizzy's best buddy. While she pretends she's too busy, Pixie is the first to sneak in extra ear scratches before she starts her morning patrol.
Those bangs! Straight up from the 80’s. Lizzy worked herself up to herd queen and takes her roll very seriously. Always a watchful eye on all the little “goats”. She loves her family, morning pampering and animal crackers - of course.
Our feisty, fun-adventurous one. Ain’t no mountain high enough (nor table) that could keep this one grounded. Cali skips & dances everywhere but never too far from her bestie Jolene, the inseparable duo.
Joining the barn at just a few months old, Jolene was and still is today the sweetest, gentlest, love bug on the farm. If I am every “grumpy” I know who to visit. Jolene can turn any frown upside down
Little charmer. Born handsome with a dashing personality. This little goat “thinks he can” and boy, does he try. He loves, loves, loves people. Don’t tell him goats don’t sleep on laps – it is his favorite hangout.
Not the 1st born but has been the 1st ever since. No fear here. Harriet takes on life one thrill at a time (maybe two). Buckets, slides, fencing - everything is her playground.
Big Teddy Bear, Gentle Giant, Snuggle Bug and Kissy Face - all suited nicknames. Moose loves everyone, 4 & 2-legged. Morning love starts with gentle head butts & cheek kisses.
Our Nancy Drew of goats finding mischief everywhere with bestie Harriet. But come sundown her favorite snuggle is always with her little brother Stewart
Loud & proud, this little stinker is a Barn favorite. Loves to play, jump and run. Stewart is always the first to come running, he loves his family, 4 & 2-legged. Come sundown you will find Steward snuggling with momma Lizzie and sis, Betty.
Gorgeous & energetic, this sweet baby girl prefers her humans to kick off mornings with lots of faces kisses and back scratches vs a hot cup of coffee
Newest rescue, this sweet baby arrived umbilical cord still attached & back leg damaged. Sold, trampled then hit by a car his start in life was rough. Today, this happy little goaty jumps & plays surrounded by lots of friends & love.
Skinny and grumpy, Chester came to the farm by way of an auction and an unscrupulous horse flipper. Today, he is living out his senior years pampered and with best buddies, Prospect & Oreo.
Starting off as only a guest, Prospect began to learn how to behave around humans. Biting is a no,no. Hooves need to be picked and no kicking allowed. Still naps each day with his snuggle buddy, Hanzo.
Just a few days old, this little cutie found out dairy farms aren’t for baby cows. Our 1st bottle baby, Maggie now has lots of friends and really can “kick up her heals”. And at 1600 pounds, that is not easy.
Sweet, handsome & a friend to all. He's ridiculously calm, stands his ground & never gets rattled when someone wants to play chase. He LOVES his goats, always near as they graze, but once dinner is called he comes running.
Born in barn, literally, Gypsy came to us via a good Samaritan. Gypsy thought she was a barn cat, but quickly found pampered princess is more her style. True to kitty nature, she makes the calls. We love this crooked tail kitty!
Dumped & alone, this sweetie had spent many bitter cold nights outside until a sweet neighbor was able to catch her. Today, ear scratches, couch lounging, & porch sitting are her favorite past time activities.
Foster fail. What started as a 6-week journey with 3 pups needing time to grow, turned into me finding a new best friend. Surviving a parvo scare, Dodger lives every moment in joy. Floppy and funny, he steals my heart daily.
This little senior has been through so much. With twisted knees, rotted teeth and a bad infection. Annie joined the family so scared and shut down. With lots of love, calmness and good nutrition Annie's now truly the happiest dog I have ever seen.
At 5+lbs, this little bundle of love was my bestie for nearly 16 years. Doing life together, ups and downs, Bear got a double portion of my heart (daily). No longer with us, he will NEVER be forgotten. I love you Bear!!
Joined the family after being listed on Craig’s list. Unwanted and discarded, those big sorrowful eyes & boundless energy stole all of our hearts but none more than little Boogie's. She spends her days soaking in the sun lounging in the grass under big trees.
Smart & hard-working, Boogie was born to be a farm dog. He takes is role seriously. Morning & night he's at the barn never far from the side of his favorite human - unless chasing a ball - OMG he is obsessed!
Our big, lovable giant. Not officially a resident, Benny spends many days visiting, lap sitting & playing which brings so much happiness to us all, Dodger especially.
This little senior joined the family through an amazing rescue, Big Fluffy Dog. She instantly became grandma's best friend
Bryan's best friend and family love bug. We miss you daily but you are always in our hearts. Up in heaven rolling yourself into a burrito bed I am sure. Love you Jed!
Our squealing ball of fun,, Little Lucy can do body twists as she rolls, jumps & sun bathes by day. Come night she rolls herself in a blanket and snores & snores.
Came to the barn via craigslist but only after unexpectedly surviving UPSP shipping. These 2 found their new "owner" only wanted 4 not 6 babies. Never worry, we WANT you forever!
Pongo & his friend Marcus (pic coming) found out the hard way too many "bros" in a hen house is not good. No more squabbles for these 2 sweeties, now living their best life as the kings of MBFS
Who knew chickens were so entertaining. Squawking, pecking, & “death napping” these girls have so much personality.
